Travel Beauty Routine – Quentin & Co

Travel Beauty Routine

Today I’m sharing my beauty routine for travel! Whether going by car, train or plane, these steps are a major help for arriving fresh, hydrated and ready to take on whichever city you end up in! I’m taking off to Toronto this weekend to visit friends for a quick getaway. Although it’s a fairly short 4 hour drive, sitting in the air conditioning (or heat, since fall weather has decided to show early) always takes a toll on my skin and hair. That’s why I’ve come up with a plan of action; from departure to arrival, read on for the beauty-saving steps!

These steps ensure your skin and hair are ready for whatever comes your way while you’re on your way…

Healthy Deodorant Vanilla – I recently became obsessed with this deodorant! No scary chemicals, smells amazing, and it actually works.

Josie Maran Argan OilJosie Maran is my go-to brand for all-natural luxury beauty products. I love adding a bit of the Argan Oil to the ends of my hair prior to traveling to keep them from drying out due to the A/C or heat. I started out with the Essentials collection box set, and all of the products are the perfect size for travel! (Bonus: they last forever; I’m still using mine from the winter)

Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes – For $12 a pop, you cannot beat these wipes for removing makeup. My sensitive skin usually breaks out from wipes, but these are actually so nourishing! They’re a must for starting your trip with clean skin, and perfect for taking the day off from the comfort of your hotel bed.

On the Road

Make the most of your travel time and fight the effects of recycled air by treating your skin and lips to a little T.L.C…

Evian Mist – In a handy travel size, this little mist can be used for cleansing skin on the go, setting makeup, and revitalizing the upper layers of the skin. So refreshing during a long drive or flight!

Skin Republic Hand Repair Mask – My hands always seem to get so dry and itchy when traveling, since I’m washing them so much more from being out and about. These gloves are a 20 minute mask that offers serious hand hydration! You don’t need to rinse it off when you’re done, making it an ideal way to kill some time on your next journey.

Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment – This ultra-hydrating lip treatment boosts moisture, enhances volume, and delays aging of your lips! Three amazing reasons to invest in the best lip therapy of your life. Plus, no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates, so I don’t feel bad kissing the baby with it on! Who doesn’t want to arrive at their destination with softer, plumper lips?

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream – Once I find a brand with gentle, effective ingredients, I can get obsessed. This lightweight age-defying moisturizer is formulated for all skin types, and delivers ultra radiant skin. I like to apply it halfway through the journey to make sure my skin combats the drying air and pollutants that come along with car, train or plane rides.

You’ve arrived! Just 3 quick steps to take you from car to cocktails…

Atelier Orange Sanguine Cologne – As someone who can’t handle any overly sweet or powerful scents, coming across this perfume was a dream come true! It’s scent is fresh, unique, and totally addicting. The travel size is great to stash in your bag as a refresher once you arrive at your destination.

YSL Rouge Volupté Radiant Lipstick – Formulated with SPF 15, this creamy lipstick will keep your lips protected from the sun and give you the perfect veil of colour.

Bastiste Dry Shampoo – While your skin may dry out during your journey, hair somehow ends up oily at the roots. This cult classic dry shampoo refreshes your locks with a quick spritz, so there’s no need to hit the hotel for touch ups before heading out!

Toronto friends and travelers! Any must-visit spots for me to see while I’m in the city?
