I have a Thanksgiving Day confession to make. I have never cooked turkey in my life, let alone been responsible for an entire Thanksgiving meal. If it came down to it I’m sure I could handle it, but I’d much rather be on the dining room side, setting the table. So, if you’re looking for tricks to prepping the perfect turkey I am definitely not your girl. But, if you want tips for setting your table for the season, you’re going to like this post! Today I’m sharing a cozy Thanksgiving tablescape, full of mixed metals, pumpkins, and other little touches that give all the Fall feels. Best of all, it’s so easy to put together! I’ve mentioned a few tricks throughout, or scroll to the bottom for shoppable links to all the pieces you need to create your own cozy tablescape.
My favourite table setting tip is tying your napkins and silverware together with a bit of ribbon or twine. It looks pretty and is seriously fool proof! No complicated napkin folds, and perfect for attaching a name tag if you’re hosting a large group.I bought a few bunches of wheat this Fall; I love the bit of warmth they add to my mostly grey and white decor. A few pieces mixed in with roses makes for an easy and festive centerpiece, especially in a cable knit vase like this one.Keeping a few throw blankets near by adds a cozy element to your set up; this tassel blanket is on trend but still neutral enough to fit in with any decor.
